EDMONDS IN MAY – BIRD’S THE WORDNo, it is not musical revival of the Sixties or a concert by the Rivingtons or the Trashmen. It is the third annual Puget Sound Bird Fest beginning the first of May in Edmonds and lasting through the 18th and 19th. “On Wing,” a juried art show at the Edmonds Conference Center continues throughout the month and culminates with an artists’ reception on Friday evening, the 18th. Following the reception, Paul Bannick, Seattle nature photographer, will give a presentation he has titled, “Wild Wings, A Photographic Celebration of Northwest Birds.” This nearly month long festivity celebrates the birds of Edmonds, nature and International Migratory Bird Day.
