Tehaleh (the land above) is a planned community in southeast Pierce County. It's just south of Bonney Lake about 20 miles from downtown Tacoma and about the same as the crow flies southeast to Mt Rainier. This huge campus is 4,000+ acres with about 900 acres of open space that includes forest with trails, parks, wetlands, and gardens. Friday afternoon (July 12, 2013) I was working with Kim Schildt, my friend and coworker at First American Title. We called on a few clients in the area then decided to swing by and see how it's going at the site and checked out a few of the model homes. This was a real treat for me.
