        Knowledge is the Power for Your Freedom to a Worry Free Home!   A leak from a fuel oil line in your basement or even a utility room will create an unpleasant odor throughout your home. This is a very important condition to check because it's a fire hazard. You need to have any leaks repaired just as soon as you can. Unfortunately, there have been some systems installed where copper tubing is ran directly on the floor and makes it subject to being crushed. It's a very poor policy and a really big hazard. In many case's the connections of the copper line to the tank, the pump, and the nozzle have been made by using a type of fitting called a compression. If you keep it properly maintained, your oil burning forced air furnace or boiler system will operate as efficiently and cleanly as a gas fired system. The oil burner does require more service than a gas burner, because there are a lot more compo nets to them. I always recommend having oil burners serviced annually. Even with the slight additional cost of maintenance, and the higher cost of fuel now a days, having a oil fired furnace is the best choice when the area you and your family lives in, does not have natural gas available. I have been eagerly waiting for a new contact for an Inspection from my blog its self, here in the AR community.
