Beam - a long piece of wood or even steel that supports the roof - in a group that can form a truss. Cornice - the overhanging part of the roof, that sticks out past the walls. In particularly the swimming pools with colored plasters, and certainly they don't if the chemical balance of the water has not been properly maintained, over time. Calcium and other minerals sure have a tendency to eat through the material and mar the finish. It's very important to have it Inspected. As there are numerous problems which can occur in the Crawl Space of a home.
