It is always an honor to meet and talk with our veterans. I always make it a point to thank them for their service to our country. Yesterday was the Essex, Vermont 2016 Memorial Day Parade. A friend of mine was visiting from Canada and was very excited to see an American parade. We sat next to a very nice veteran and his dog. After the parade, they treated us to maple creemees.
