    Jan and I had a great time at Cana with a couple car-fulls of friends a few weeks ago. Food is available but we supplemented it with stuff we brought. No problem on that score from the friendly staff. Free music was just right for the occasion. We will be going back. There ain't much but open road and natural beauty once you pass Dulles Airport west of Chantilly.         If you are relocating to the Washington DC area from some piece of Eden in the rest of the world, and you are afraid that all you have to look forward to is sucking exhaust from the Volvo in front of you on the way back from the Pentagon, take heart. My husband and I took a short trip to Middleburg, VA a few weeks ago.  Kids were at camp.  It was divine.  While there, the owner of our B&B told us about a Rodin in the graveyard behind the inn.  Apparently a really rich family commissioned the piece for one of their family members.  We missed it on our first tour because it sat outside of the main gate.  I found myself just as partial to this cool horse grave marker.  08/10/2011

I decided to go for a Drive to Middleburg VA on this Easter Sunday just past and I did take my camera along to take some springtime photos of Middleburg VA. I only took a few photographs, the day was just so pleasant that I did not want to ruin it.
