    It was December 2nd 2012 when I listed Chambord Lane for sale in the Westridge Subdivision near Lake Ridge Virginia. I had just  helped the owners buy their move up home in the area. Once the move was completed, it was time to get the  Chambord Lane home on the market for sale. Westridge Subdivision is one of my favorite subdivisions to sell homes. Why? Because I live there,I am a homeowner, neighbor and I am passionate about the community and what it has to offer. Westridge Subdivision is a mixed use community of detached homes, town houses and condo's. The community has it's own Elementary School and two community pools a club house that residents can rent out for a nominal fee for large parties or events. In some ways, the banks have found a way through Equator to transfer much of the clerical work to the short sale agent. Pumpkin Patch at Lakeridge Nursery in Lakeridge VA For as long as I have been residing in Woodbridge, VA. I always remember the Lakeridge Nursery having a Pumpkin Patch every year. A great place for children that love moon bounces, a pirate ship, and an inflatable obstacle course. Children are given a choice of either an apple, popcorn or ice cream with their admission price.  $12 per child Monday through Thursday, and $15 per child Friday through Sunday. Last admission is 7 p.m. The patch will be open until the end of October.  There are pumpkins of all sizes for sale from $8-$10. Located on Old Bridge Road. All I wanted to do was cry as I stood there. Words really cannot express thesadness I felt as my eyes roamed the room. Early this morning I was out previewing a property that has only been listed for one day.  It is a short sale and the listing did show a few pictures, something I believe my client will like.  The public remarks of the listing reads “SHORT SALE. BEAUTIFUL TOWNHOUSE, WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS, GRANITE COUNTERTOPS, AND BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE OCCOQUAN RIVER. MUST SEE!!!!” As I continue to read the listing it said to contact the showing service, so I did. The Lake Ridge Virginia area and surrounding communities is still seeing a strong market. Average days on market for homes priced well and in good condition is 35 days or less to receive a contract! The highest price home to get a contract this month was a stunning home on the point at River Falls on The Occouquan listed at $1,375,000 by NocDo of Long and Foster. I walked that home when it was under construction, it is an amazing piece of property!
