  When  I became a real estate agent.   About a week ago a lady called me from Germany. Her husband works for the DOD and will be transferred to the Pentagon in August. He'll be in town this weekend for four days to search and buy a new home. First Home of 2013 SOLD in Catlett, VA It's always a great feeling to get the first closing of a new year under your belt when you are a real estate agent.  And the Northern Virginia real estate market started popping in the fall of 2012.  I still remember when the Buyers of this fantastic country home in Catlett emailed and said they had a few homes they wanted to see.  It was November 21st when they first contacted me,  the day before Thanksgiving.  They had three homes they wanted to see.  We made an appointment to go out and look on November 24th.  We saw all three homes and they wanted one of them.  Doesn't get easier than that.  We wrote up the offer on November 29th.
