Women’s Cycling Event near St. George UT Cedar City UT, just a short drive from St. George UT, will be hosting the Cedar City Grand Prix. This elite all women’s cycling event is a professional road criterium event. The course is short but there will be timed laps before each rider will cross the finish line. First woman to cross the line in a set amount of time will be crowned winner. The Cedar City Grand Prix’s course is a 1.2K where riders will ride short laps as fast as they can for sixty-minutes. The Frontier Homestead State Park is getting a major enhancement. They were selected to receive $12,200 in funding from Cedar City/Brian Head Tourism Bureau to enhance the parks education programs. The funds are coming from the Transient Room Tax collected by the county. The funds collected are distributed to help market the Iron County area as a tourist destination. And, some of the funds will be used to offer discounts to the public to area attractions. The Frontier Homestead State Park is trying to be a community, so these funds will help them achieve their goals. Canyon Ridge Golf Course Homes and Lots - Inventory down!  Many of the lots surrounding and overlooking the Canyon Ridge Golf Course have sold in the past year.  There are still a few for sale that actually front on the fairways.  Others have commanding views of the course and the surrounding redrock hills that shelter this growing community.
