What a journey it has been for my seller as she navigated the complexities of selling her mother's home in Avery Ranch. I sold their home years ago in Canyon Creek as they relocated to VA. Her mom lived in Avery Ranch and the challenges began when I first met with them last February, recognizing that listing the house while her mother was still living there would be a formidable task. Advising them to create a will promptly due to her mother's failing health, the situation took a turn for the worse when she passed away in March after a prolonged battle with cancer.Despite having consulted with an attorney before her death, the document crafted was not sufficient for selling the home.
