Rowlett & Sachse Texas Home Market Report March 2016 BIG changes in Rowlett & Sachse TX over this time last year. Average Sales prices went up 8.4 % in one year! New listings are up 54% which is a good thing for the area,  as many people were displaced after the December 26, 2015 tornado.  Inventory is moving  slightly slower than other area averages , staying on the market 35 days. When prices are high this does slow down the marketing time as home shoppers try to stay in their budgets. If they offer over , then they have to come to closing with more money down, this is not always easy for buyers.

In December of this year, Rowlett home sales grew 33%, with 81 houses sold. So far this year, home sales have reached 1,141 in all, which is a 7% upturn from a year ago. Overall this year, new housing listings have reached 1,444 overall, which is a 9% surge relative to the same period last year. There were 63 new real estate listings this month. New homes listed in Rowlett gained 9% during December. During December, there were 59 properties currently listed in Rowlett, which is a 2% fall from last month.
