We volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank today!  It was GREAT!  This was our first time to volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank and we sorted and boxed food this morning.  It was a great time and a great cause.  This organization does so much to support 260 agencies. It really makes you appreciate what you have and how just one person can give back and make a difference.  There were about 30 volunteer this morning and we boxed 57,000 pounds of food.  AMAZING! We plan to volunteer on a regular basis to help the North Texas Food Bank reach their goals. Please see their website for volunteer opportunities. http://www.northtexasfoodbank.com/ Mindy & Jay Robbins Robbins Real Estate Group www.TeamRobbins.com 214-563-4584 direct

You need a support group that understands your every move.  I have been in the property management business for 22 years in Dallas Texas and I could not have made it without this organization.  NARPM is the only organization that supports "residential" property management NOT multi-family.  Trust me...there is a difference.  You have a great chapter in AZ.  Check out www.NARPM.org You are NOT alone!

Real estate bubble?  Not in Heights Park.  If you watch the national news or read the local newspaper, you may have feared that you're losing equity in your home. The simple fact is that real estate in the Heights Park area continues to increase in value.  For the 6-month period ending December 3, 2008, the average home price has increased significantly over the same six-month period last year.  Other statistics indicate a healthy real estate market:  The average days on market for a sold home is only 53 days.  The number of homes selling for over $200,000 has more than doubled.  And there are more sales transactions in the last half of 2008 than there were in  2007.  So take some comfort this holiday season that while the  national real estate market is suffering, you have made a soun...

Tonight I had the honor and pleasure of sharing the benefits of home staging with the Business and Professional Women's (BPW) Club of Richardson, TX.  It was a wonderful evening spent in the company of business women in my local community who graciously invited me to share with them what I do as a home staging professional. I had been contacted over a month ago by a BPW member, Saundra Honea, who had read the home staging article from the September 2008 Dallas Morning News, How to Stage your Home to Sell Fast, in which I was interviewed, and thought it would be an interesting topic for their monthly meeting.  Of course I said, "Yes!" Whenever I get the opportunity to share with a others about home staging I jump at the chance.  It's especially wonderful when the group invites you and WA...
