North Richland Hills TX: Veteran’s Day Celebration November 9th, 2012 Good morning everyone,   The city of North Richland Hills TX is having a Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 9th, this Friday at Liberty Park in North Richland Hills.  Liberty Park is the site of the Veterans Monument, a brick sculpture spanning 21 feet wide by 9 feet tall.  There are three panels that represent Hope, Sacrifice and Strength.  Images were carved showing military members from different wars and different times.  The park has a plaza area also with benches and landscaping, allowing for quiet reflection of this park and of the monument.  There is a picnic pavilion and playground for lunches and playtime.    I wanted to take the time to honor our veterans and current actively serving military around the ... 11/08/2012

North Richland Hills Tx parks: Adventure World playground renovation good evening all. I just wanted to make North Richland Hills residents aware that a renovation is going to happen next year in July at the Crosstimbers Park/ Adventure World playground in North Richland Hills off of Starnes and Holiday.   I and a friend that goes there frequently attended the community input meeting a few weeks ago. About 40 people were there including several council members, park planners, architecture firm as well as representatives from Shane's Inspiration.  That last firm designs playgrounds to be accessible for able bodied kids as well as kids needing help getting around physically where a regular playground is too challenging or inaccessible. North Richland Hills Hoot N’Howl a Success! Hello all!  I just had to share about our time we had at the North Richland Hills Hoot N’Howl at Green Valley park on Smithfield Rd.  Our family really enjoys all that North Richland Hills has to offer as far as community events and fun for all.  How can you go wrong with a huge water park like NRH2O, free concerts in the Spring, the all new NRH Centre over by the really nice North Richland Hills library and so much more!   So the Hoot N’ Howl(admit it, you say it with a Texas drawl in your head!) is a community event where the city of North Richland Hills sets up bounce houses and mazes, craft tables and carnival games.  We enjoyed the hay ride (even though we’re all allergic to hay and were sneezing well into the evening) and people watching... 10/30/2012

North Richland Hills TX Fireworks at NRH2O The city of North Richland Hills is having fireworks at NRH2O on Sat August 11th 2012.  NRH2O is probably my favorite place here in North Richland Hills, maybe even all of the DFW Mid-Cities area, especially during the summer!  The heat here can get a little on the warm side and when the mercury is up there, I want to be cooling off.     Our family bought season tickets at the beginning of the season so that we could go at any time on any day.  Not only does the park have kid splash zones and small slides and pools, but there are slides for the bigger kids and adults.  I enjoy laying out in the NRH2Ocean wave pool where you don’t even realize it’s actually 108 outside.  The park has shade everywhere so if you can’t get a spot under an umbrella ... 08/10/2012

Hello again from A.N.T.T.S = A North Texas Termite Specialist. We hear this statement all to often " They never told us we needed a WDI termite inspection ". I cannot count how many times we get the call for the last minute termite inspection needed for closing. People will be set to close and have everything in order anticipating closing on their home and then get hit with a last minute expense and a hassle trying to find a pest control company that can even make it out in a hurry. Let me tell you they are never very happy about this and this is not a taste you want to leave in your clients mouth after all the hard work you went through to find them a new home. I was at Lowe's yesterday looking for sand bags (they were OUT) to help prevent any water coming up on my back patio and ended up purchasing a new fancy BBQ Grill...great sale by the way.
