Book Lovers in Katy  - Huge Book Sale at Katy Budget Books Katy Budget Books is holding its semi-annual book sale which starts on Thursday October 1, and runs through Sunday October 18, 2015. The sale will consist of approximately 60,000 specially marked used books on sale. The prices are very cheap in my opinion. Children's books are $.40 each; Paperbacks are $50 each; Large Paperbacks are $.75 each ; and Hardcover Books are $1.00 each.  Katy Budget Books puts out more books every evening until these are all gone. Going to the sale more than one time might be a good strategy.    Sale books are located on designated tables and in boxes. Katy ISD Collects for Food for Families Campaign   Katy ISD Partners in Education invites you to dig into your hearts and give to their annual Food for Families campaign. This fundraiser benefits Katy ISD students and their families who are in need. Reptile Expo by Third Coast in Katy at Elks Lodge   The Katy Elks Lodge is hosting a Third Coast sponsored Reptile Expo on Saturday November 16  and on Sunday November  17, 2013. Morton Ranch Choir Katy Hosts Veterans Day Concert   Morton Ranch High School which is one of the seven high schools in the Katy ISD system will host a special Veteran’s Day concert at the school in the Performing Arts Center on Sunday November 10, 2013.
