St. Peter’s United Methodist Church Katy Hosts Handel’s Messiah   Sunday December 14, 2014 St.Peter’s United Methodist Church will present their annual community Messiah Sing-along accompanied by a full orchestra and the Church’s Chancel Choir. The program will take place in the sanctuary and will begin at 7 PM. St. Peter’s Church is located at 20775 Kingsland Dr. Katy, Texas.   Many folks love to include music and or singing in their Holiday celebrations and for some folks Handel’s Messiah is a necessity to attend and listen to the beautiful music. This sounds like a wonderful concert to attend and especially if you like Led Zeppelin and their music. I do as I am huge fan. What amazes me is Led Zep music is played all across the world by symphony orchestra’s. Their music absolutely rocks, is intense and complicated. The concert is being held on Saturday July 26, 2014. Houston Texas Summer Boat Show is Coming to Town   The 26 TH Annual Summer Boat Show is being held at Reliant Center beginning on June Wednesday June 19 and going through Sunday June 23, 2013. If you live in Katy getting to Reliant Park is especially on the weekends not difficult.   Tickets are being sold at a very reasonable price with Kids aged 6-12 only $4 per ticket and Adults $10. Celebrate National Pancake Day with free Short Stack at IHOP KatyTuesday February 5, 2013 is National Pancake Day ( I know .. What is this?) and IHOP restaurant in Katy as well as across the United States will be offering a free short Stack of Pancakes. I believe the offer starts at 7 AM. In exchange for the free pancakes IHOP is asking all patrons to consider making a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network. The fund raising goal is to hit $3.0 million in donations across the US.
