  Westside Chef’s Charity Throwdown Comes to Katy Texas The second annual Westside Chef’s Throwdown will be held on Saturday September 24, 2011 at La Centerra at Cinco Ranch and the address is 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Katy Texas 77494. The event will begin at 1:00 PM and last until 4:00 PM. Westside Chef’s will be demonstrating their culinary creativity while raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).   Katy Texas Boy Scout Troop Holds Golf Tournament Boy Scout Troop 584 which is a ministry of The Fellowship of Cinco Ranch will hold its third annual benefit golf tournament on Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Cinco Ranch Golf Club.  The funds are being raised to help the scouts pay for summer camps and Eagle Scout projects. The Tournament will be a 4 person Florida scramble with prizes awarded for both low gross and net scores. Other prizes to be awarded include closest to the hole and longest drive. The cost is $120 per person or $480 per foursome. The Cinco Ranch Golf Club is located at 23030 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Katy Texas.
