He was always telling us that he visited all of the homes in town -- and Ella Smither was the one that he selected for his mother. Why? The people. So... when my mother broke her shoulder and had to go to rehab for a month, Ella Smither Geriatric Center was my immediate choice. Mother spent one month in their care, and I have to agree... the people at Ella Smither are more than wonderful. A year later, my mother broke her hip and the other shoulder. (She was having mini strokes and blacking out.) This meant another stay at El...
