Texas traditions ruled our world today as Ueckert Realty participated in a Chili festival and rodeo in Haslet, Texas. Haslet is a great community with less than 1,000 residents, making it a rural-type setting north of Cowtown. It has a 2-year-old library and amazing park system for its smaller size. My good friend, Ted Hopper, Northstar Bank Mortgage, is on the parks board in Haslet and he helped put together this family friendly event today. My husband, Richard, and I along with Ted shared a booth we called Open House. GREAT day for chili and a rodeo! The wind was something fierce this morning, so our booth setup was simple.
