The area currently known as Little Forest Hills in Dallas was originally a cluster of small lake houses built in the 1930s, when White Rock Lake was outside the City Limits of Dallas.  The original houses were intended for weekend use only, which is why this area retains a welcoming country feel.  There are plenty of trees and hills that showcase its natural beauty.  It isn't uncommon to see Little Forest Hills homes decorated with fun, quirky yard art.  This area of Dallas has an "artsy" appeal.  The homes are comprised of a mix of original structures, modified original structures and new construction, with some jewels of time, some highly polished and some waiting to be polished.   A search of the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS) showed that there are currently 11 ...
