Every year Keller Williams agents set aside a day "RED DAY" for community improvement.  This year we took time to clean up the beach at the National Seashore on Padre Island.  Agents from all our offices were involved in various community projects.  My office chose a great way to help.  Not only did we clean up a large portion of the beach, we had fun doing it!  Gold Financial, Farmer's Insurance, Bay Area Title are just some of the sponsors that provided food, water, and support in our efforts to make a difference in our community.  We collected a lot of trash left by visitors that should have used the trash cans along the beach or taken their stuff home.  Leaving trash at the beach is not cool!  Birds and other animals can get trapped in wire or fishing line and plastic and styrofoam ... 05/15/2016

Yesterday my husband put new weather instruments on our saliboat.  If you are not familiar with sailing, you may wonder what this is all about.  It is a process.  First he had to wire the instrument panel and run the wires from the mast to the wall of the boat near where he sits so he can see wind direction and speed.  Wind velocity and direction are super important for any boat but especially for a sailboat. When he was finished with this, it was up the mast!  That is about 48 feet in the air.  Winds were expected to pick up yesterday and so he went up early in the morning before it started blowing very hard.  He had to take the old ones off and replace with the new ones.  Imagine the tools and everything needed being lifted up in a bucket. One of the Most Beautiful Places in the World  I am going to try to start sharing some of the most beautiful places in the world I have had the opportunity to visit.  I am starting my series with Maui.  We were blessed last year by a client who owns a condo on the beach there.  Maui is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  You will see rainbows daily here.  There are so many places to visit when you are on this Island.  We saw most of them during our 10 day stay there.
