Art At The Domain returned for a repeat performance October 26 – October 28 for the Fall Festival. In the spring of 2012 they had such a fabulous reception they made sure they utilized Austin’s premier lifestyle venue …..the “Domain” to host the festival again!Admission was free and the event was open to the public. What a great family day to enjoy our fine weather and stroll along soaking in such exceptional national and local artist’s displays. Century Oaks Terrace was closed so we had easy access to all the artist’s booths. What a classic picture it made!Sunday I made it a point to stop by….the weather was amazing..60’s and sunny and clear and what astounding displays I saw! It was open from 12 – 6pm on Sunday and couldn’t have been a nicer day to end the three day festival.  http:/...

"Foodie Fridays" in Austin   It's Friday again and time to make plans to eat out.  If you're looking for something trendy and centrally located then you must visit the Domain. Whole Foods is under construction at the Domain with a fantastic new store. There is plenty of shopping in an environment we in Texas love...not in a mall! The restaurants are plentiful so this week I'm suggesting eating out at the Domain:1. URBAN AT THE DOMAIN.  Housed in the new Weston is where you will find this contemporary new hot spot featuring American favorites with an urban twist.  Inside and outside dining and happy hour for locals every weekday from 4-7pm.  They serve fresh local-sourced ingredients for an innovative fare!  You won't be disappointed! www.urbanatthedomain.com/2. Domainia ~ Domain   Austin, TXThe Domain is located in the heart of the NW corridor and brings the best of Austin to one single urban location offering the concept of living and working in an urban environment.   Phase I and II are completed but when the development is finished there will be nearly eight million square feet of mixed use space, giving Austinites more incredible choices to live, work, dine and play! Captivating oak trees serve as a backdrop to the platform for many musical groups. The open air lifestyle is pedestrian friendly and is keeping with the casual unique Austin spirit. Saturday night we stopped in for dinner on the patio at our favorite restaurant "North" and enjoyed the soft jazz from the Music In The Park on stage.  The Texas heat had subsided and a gentle bree...
