This is the video we were queuing up to promote our Midtown project had things not moved so quickly and buyers gobbled them up. Both units were snatched up over the holidays (one before we even made it MLS). A few thank you's to some integral folks who helped make this happen. 👍🏼 Hats off to @notionsdesignbuild for helping us bring together our initial vision and working with us for a refined design, and then pushing through all the pandemic construction hurdles. Too many times people rush the process early on, and make costly layout issues that don't come to light until it's too late. Pause during design and slow down! 👍🏼 A big thanks to @mannyfreshdesign for pulling together the look and vibe we had conceptually in our minds, but needed his expertise to fine tune and help us avoid mes...

My latest listing in Midtown at 1304 Richcreek Rd, Unit B is special! Not just because I believe it to be stunning and fills a gap in our market, but I was personally involved with the creation of this project with my business partner (although there was help from many in pulling this vision together). The backstory is below, but let's talk about this 2 unit project and side B which has been staged and launched in MLS:Nestled in the heart of Crestview on arguably one of the most coveted streets, this new construction showcases quintessential modern Scandinavian design with luxury, high-end finishes throughout. We are talking white oak flooring (on both levels), Bertazzoni s.s. kitchen appliances, quartz waterfall countertops on a 10ft center island, fun wallpaper accent, energy efficient...

Lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on a large tree-covered lot, with a carport, a detached 2-car garage, and a backyard deck for entertaining – w/ secondary access from the master bedroom. The home has an eat-in-kitchen, central cooling and heating, ceiling fans, mini-blinds in all rooms, and tile flooring throughout. Located on a quiet street in the heart of Crestview, the home is only a block away from the historic Crestview Shopping Center that includes Fresh Plus grocery store, and the very popular “Little Deli”. The home is also within short walking distance to the highly-rated Brentwood Elementary School, and the delightful Brentwood Park. The dog-friendly park has walking paths, basketball and tennis courts, a softball field, a children’s playscape and a swimming pool. Location and c...

Austin is going to be turning the Ryan Drive storage lot into more housing and parkland development. Austin Energy purchased the 5.5 acres on the edge of Crestview in 1997, where it has been using the site for operation storage. This has been an ongoing discussion for years, privately among neighborhood residents wanting something more useful, and now publicly as the city of Austin finally decided to take initiative and move forward with the restoration plan. For many who live in the surrounding communities of Brentwood and Crestview, the cluttered storage has been an eyesore. Located just west of North Lamar Boulevard, at the corner of Justin Lane and Ryan Drive, plenty of pedestrian traffic gets to see this everyday. Including the people who come off the Crestview Metro Rail and Bus ...

How adorable is this space at my turnkey ready listing in Crestview? This hallway has a selection of light blue and white textured wallpaper to showcase the area. My clients really know how to take advantage of their small space and showcase this room in the best lighting possible with the combination of colors and the use of textures.  Some people prefer wallpaper over paint because of its greater longevity, meaning that you won't have to go back and refinish the walls for years, or even decades. Taking advantage of trends in interior design such as wallpaper, is a great way to add aestethics to your home. Blue is an ideal shade to enhance the space of the room and what better place to do that than the hallway to really make it feel larger than it actually is. Interior designers use li...

The Crestview Pharmacy, owned and operated since 1964 by The Harper Family, has been serving the Crestview / Brentwood Neighborhoods and surrounding communities in what is now North Central (Midtown) Austin. No longer the outskirts of Austin, these 2 popular neighborhoods have seen a lot of change in the last few years.  Last year the Crestview Mini Mart traded hands, and is now Arlan's Market .  The Little Deli still draws large lunch and dinner crowds, and you can stop in to see your favorite stylist at Crestview Barber Shop.  My family has seen the changes slowly unfold the past 15 years, but we still enjoy walking or riding our bikes to this community center.  We bid farewell and thank the Harpers for their years of service.

This morning a call for help was posted on the Crestview Neighborhood Association Facebook page.  Black Star Co-op is owned by a community of more than 3,000 individuals and organizations, and they are democratically managed by their Workers' Assembly.  They are sending out an S.O.S, noted below, and need your help to keep the doors open.  It's cold outside and what better way to warm up this weekend!  Black Star is located along Airport Blvd in the Crestview Commons project right next to the Crestview Station (take the light rail over if you live in other areas of town and ditch the car!).  Actual address is 7020 Easy Wind Dr, Ste 100. Go Local and support Black Star this weekend!
