Lenox Village is a hot little part of Nashville right now!  Homes in Lenox Village command higher prices than the immediate surrounding area because of the unique aspects of the community.  Home owners that have lived there for 2 1/2 to 3 years are already seeing equity grow in the tens of thousands of dollars and selling their homes at a significant profit.  One of our recent listings sold in just 8 days.  We implemented an aggressive marketing plan including staging and virtual tour, priced the home competitively and the home found it's new owner in just 8 days.  This kind of fast turn around is not a-typical in this area, though not guaranteed by any means.  But anyone looking for a move or an upgrade in Lenox Village is in prime position to sell.  And we are looking to become the go...

How about $15,000 in property value. The infinite wisdome (LOL) of the United States Postal Servcie is at work again in Nashville. THe addition of the Cane Ridge community name has brought some relief from the negative connotation of Antioch, however the gerrymandered lines are so silly even our City Officials are befuddled. Within a 1 mile radius we have 3 seperate zip codes...37013, 37027, 37211. Now I know this doesn't sound odd but but the 37013 zip code has 2 different areas that are 5 miles apart. The Postmaster said it has to do with a work contact....The reason for the frustration is two subdivisions adjoin the one where I build and sell 1 has the 37211 zip code, the other the 37027 zip code but we are all in the same school and tax zone!!! Due to the high crime issues in 37013 ...

The annual "Let Freedom Sing" celebration was so awesome last night.  There's such excitement in Nashville and it makes me proud to be part of it all!  Over 100,000 people were on hand to celebrate the 4th of July at Riverfront Park.  Actually, it's one of the largest fireworks displays in the nation.  The celebration is an all-day event...with activities for children as well as adults.  And since Nashville is known as Music City USA....one would expect lots of music.  And music it was.....with concerts all day long.  The evening's concert featured country music stars such as Taylor Swift, Rodney Adkins and Van Zant.   But the Nashville Symphony was the star of the show...synchronizing with the fireworks display.  What a show!!Thanks Nashville...for being such a fun place to live! Happy...

The Country Music Festival (Fan Fair) had a record-breaking attendance this year of almost 200,000 people.  This was 14% over the attendance last year! They reported that sales of 4-day tickets were up 20%.  The Country Music Festival is not only great for country music fans...it's great for Nashville.  It brought over $19 million in revenue  to the local economy this year.Fan Fair is a time for country music stars to show their appreciation to the fans.  It's a time for pictures and autographs of the stars.  And the nightly concerts are awesome!

Country music singer Rodney Atkins, along with Taylor Swift and Van Zant will be performing at the July 4th Celebration in Nashville this year.  The Nashville Symphony, as always, will accompany the fireworks display. The celebration is held at downtown Nashville's Riverfront Park and is an all-day event.  Festivities will start at noon and continue with pre-show line-up that will include rising country-rock performer Chris Janson. The official concert starts at 8:00 p.m., and will be a live broadcast on the Great American Country Network.  It will also air locally on NewsChannel 5.The mayor promises the best fireworks display ever...which is saying a lot.  Because the July 4th celebration in Nashville is already one of the best in the nation.  It's a wonderful celebration and I'm really ...

It's a star-studded line-up for this year's CMAfest.  Formerly known an Fan Fair, it's the largest country music celebration in the nation.  The expected turnout is estimated at over 40,000 people.  The event is always held the 2nd week in June. In addition to non-stop concerts, there's something for everyone in the family.  Building a house for Habitat for Humanity leads the wide variety of charity functions for the event.  They plan to frame the home and have it finished (along with 14 others)....in time for a dedication ceremony prior to the CMA Awards in November. The CMA will actually donate half of the net proceeds to fund music education in Metro Nashville's public schools.  This is through a partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education called, "Keep the Music Play...

The Nashville Arena has been re-named.  It is now the Sommet Center due to a naming rights deal between the Nashville Predators and the Franklin-based Sommet Group.  The arena has long been known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center, but in 2004, the 20-year agreement between Gaylord and the Nashville Predators was terminated. The name is pronounced "so-may"....but folks, this is Nashville!  Everyone loves us southern speaking folks...and I can tell you that this arena is going to be know as the "som-met" center from now on.
