New Nashville Baseball Field Still on Track The site plans for the new Nashville Sounds baseball stadium have been released, showing the city’s expected construction in and around the new field. Located in the city’s popular Germantown neighborhood, the stadium will take up residence where Nashville’s first baseball stadium once resided. The historic implications are not lost on Music City, which has taken every opportunity to share the stories of the first baseball teams formed during the Civil War.
