Buying a Foreclosed Home in Sumter, SC Part 2   If you read my first post about purchasing a foreclosure you know that the tables were turned on me and it was my turn to sign the paperwork to make an offer on purchasing a home.  After much thought, I signed the paperwork uploaded it with the HomePath offer and hit the submit button.     I will admit, that evening I kept checking my email.  I check the HomePath.com website for any news.  But nothing changed except it said “Submitted”.  Ok, off to work the next day, and yes HomePath.com was an open tab on my browser.  I would click over and refresh, oh maybe ever 30 minutes if not more frequent.  I would also check my email account to see if I had received any news.  I went to lunch with my husband and he caught me checking emails.  I to... 10/25/2013

Had an open house at 730 Orlando Sumter SC and people still think we are like the rest of the country or at worst the hard hit parts of the country. We did go through a little bit of a hard time but we have held our own. All I hear is that in this place or in this place we can buy this for this and I hate to say that won't happen here. Most if all the good buys in Sumter SC around Shaw AFB are pretty much gone. This has been a solid market throughout most of this whole ordeal...With it's slow down of course because of you know what. If you want a solid property stay here if you want a steal go elsewhere.
