Wow, It's was so gorgeous here in Pawleys Island this morning. As I could barely make it out of bed, exhausted from work, writing content, working on multiple real estate website, after I made my last Mommy taxi service kid to school drop this morning, I headed to Pawleys Island Beach. I am so glad I did, it was a great way to clear my mind, get some excersice and start my day off with a renewed spirit! As Mom's, we are already trying to be SuperWomen on a daily basis, I was reminded that I needed some time for ME! My Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Windy, hit the beach today and loved it. Windy is an 11 year old female and is still very active. Her favorite activity is long, open water retrieves in the ocean. We went to the south end of Pawleys Island, SC and the crowd was extremely light with only about 7 vehicles in the parking lot. My daughter played in the sand and then we had a picnic dinner. We met two other children that had been netting jellyfish and crabs in the creek and they all shared some Skittles.  My dog, Windy, was born on a dairy farm along the eastern shore in Maryland. She was the last pup to be adopted and no one wanted her since she had been left to run without a collar for the first 6 months of her life and was very willful even for a Chesapeake Bay. We had a great turnout for the 5k road race that raised funds for St Chrisprohers Children, a non profit that takes care of the needs of children in Georgetown County that fall thru the cracks in social service situations. I start this article with great pride and joy! One year ago, a magnificent group of local Pawleys Island, SC volunteers and I started the first Annual St. Christopher's Children 5k Race. Starting a 5k charity based race was no easy task, but we were all up for the challenge! With my co-race coordinator Melissa Dunn and me, Jennifer Grant, We tackled what seemed to be the impossible last year. We put together a first ever 5k race in 6 weeks. Local landmark, Lands End re-opening creating 40-50 jobs for locals of Georgetown, Pawleys Island area! Re-open April 26th, Lands End restaurant located on Hwy 17 at the northern edge of Georgetown SC, this local landmark seafood restaurant is hoping to breathe new life into the old Land End. Hi All, I don't usually share many links, but I read a great article this morning on how to help prevent people from stealing your content, or at the very least to help sway them not to. It's one thing to re-order words change things up because there is only so much you can write about a particular area for instance, like the history of a location or if it's a article you are passing along as a resource to your clients, but I like to at least credit the author if applicable. The first paragraph in the article is so dead on. I was sitting here this morning thinking what should I blog about?
