Myrtle Beach to Host PGA Tour Event Beginning in 2024Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, will host a PGA Tour event beginning in 2024. The tournament called the Myrtle Beach Classic, will be held at Dunes Golf and Beach Club, a Robert Trent Jones-designed course. The tournament will have a $3.9 million purse and will be part of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup regular season.The Myrtle Beach Classic will be the first PGA Tour event ever held in Myrtle Beach. The city is a popular destination for golfers, with more than 100 courses in the area.
