This is a beautiful home in one of our city's premier communities, I'on.  It has actually been written up in multiple magazines (the neighbhorhood, not this particular home) for it's cottage style community layout and old fashioned neighborhood feel.  The owners of this home upsized inside the same neighborhood and knowing the benefits that staging provides turned to Charleston's Premier Staging Company - First Impressions Home Staging & Interior ReDesign.  Below are some before & after photos of this project: It is amazing how much larger this room feels in person.  The curtains add significant visual height & texture.  While we don't typically add curtains, because there were already rods hanging, it was important that this be utilized to its best benefit. The before photo focused on ...

This charming home in I'on is also one of the lowest priced homes (at $649,00)! It is perfect for your family with a great living space, eat-in kitchen and downstairs master bedroom.   The agent has received a lot of positive feedback (see below) and several second showings since the home was staged. We held an open house together and got a lot of agent's to come back through the home a second time, noted how much better it looked staged so they planned to bring their clients back through.  "Both parties liked the house. Whatever was done inside has paid off! I showed this a while back. We may be back to view again this week. Thanks, (agent's name)."

When I was a little girl, I can remember going out to the strawberry fields on Wadmalaw Island and picking the reddest, sweetest strawberries I had ever tasted.  As an adult, Jim and I have been to the same fields a few times, and I have to say that some things never change. If you have never had a fresh strawberry right out of the field, then you have no idea what you're missing!  There is absolutely no contest between those and the ones you find in the grocery store.  Even around here the "local" strawberries in our stores pale in comparison to the ones right off the vine. So with those memories, I'm so happy to see that the 11th Annual Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation is about to kick-off.  This year's festival will be held on April 19th and 20th 2008.  This festival fea...

It's time again for the 21st  Annual Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival.  This year's festival, being hosted by the Town of Mount Pleasant, will be held on Sunday, April 27th from 11:30am to 5pm at the Alhambra Hall and Park on the Charleston Marina. This highly-anticipated event celebrates the Mt. Pleasant shrimping industry and features local shrimp boat captains partaking in an annual pre-season tradition - the blessing of the shrimp fleet. As one of Mt. Pleasant's largest tourist events, the festival attracted 10,000 to 12,000 people from across the southeast last year. Proceeds from the event help support the local shrimping community as well as east cooper charities. In addition to supporting the shrimpers and enjoying a blessing of their fleet, festival-goers will enjoy ...
