My Dear Friend This blog is dedicated to one of my Agent-Owners of AgentOwned Realty --- Ernie DeCarli.                                                              You see, Ernie has kidney cancer and really is not doing well at all.  He has not been able to eat for quite awhile, because his kidney cancer spread to his stomach.  He is in a lot of pain and is miserable because he cannot get out and do his real estate. I've had photos of Eliza, my beautiful granddaughter, on AR a few times, but never the boys. One reason is that they don't like to have their photos taken and especially not with Grandmother. I got them to pose with me a few days ago.  I'm very proud of both of them.   This is Wilson Antley.  He is 16 and as you can see not very happy about having to please Grandmother.  He is of course so much taller than I am.  He is the studious one, but right now very interested in his friends.       This is Owen Antley. If you have never had a fresh strawberry right out of the field, then you have no idea what you're missing!  There is absolutely no contest between those and the ones you find in the grocery store.  Even around here the "local" strawberries in our stores pale in comparison to the ones right off the vine. Well, what is there not to like about the Charleston Tri-County Area of South Carolina? Personally, I cannot think of anything unless it would be the "no-seeums" (better known by some as gnats) that come around mostly in August. They are a nuisance.       The weather is unbelievable! Today, the sun is shining and the temperature is in the mid 70's.  There is a breeze which is soooooooo nice. I'm East of the Cooper in Mt. Pleasant.  When I got up this morning, it was just soooo gorgeous.  Eliza (granddaughter) spent last night with Boyd & me.  We got up fixed a good breakfast of bacon & eggs --- couldn't wait to get outside. I grew up in Hampton County, SC in a community named Brighton, SC.  I know when I went "off to school", people would ask me, "Where are you from?"  I would always start with Hampton County, then if they seem to know that, I would say "Well, I went to Estill High School", then if they seemed to know that, I would say, "Well, I'm really from Garnett, SC", then if they seemed to know that, I would then say, "Well, to be honest, I'm really from out in the country from Garnett - a small community called Brighton."
