What Happened In the Fort Mill \Tega Cay, SC Housing Market: June 2016

June 2016 home sales in the Fort Mill/Tega Cay, South Carolina areas of the Charlotte, NC metro region ended the second quarter of 2016 with a solid performance, continuing the trends we've seen all year to-date. The average sale price of Fort Mill area homes increased by 2.5% to just under $284,000 compared with June 2015, while average days on market for property listings dropped by 14 days to 51 days, an 21.5% improvement over the same period last year. Price per square foot also increased by 2.8% to $111/square foot during June 2016 versus the same period in 2015. In Tega Cay, average home sale prices were up 3.9% to just over $314,000 versus June 2015, while days on market improved by three days to 59 days.
