Have you ever realized for years you have missed out on something right under your nose?I have driven past this space so many times, and this week decided to stop and see what was here. The George Lorimer Preserve is 87.8 acres and is a combination of meadows, woods, Valley Creek, birds, ponds, wildflowers and a small trail system all open to the public for free to walk and enjoy.It doesn't take long to walk, but if you have some dogs, as long as you keep them on leash it is a wonderful place to take them for a walk.
