Even though the calendar said spring arrived several weeks ago Mother Nature hasn't delivered yet, at least not in the northeast.  Normally I am not one to complain about the weather, even cold & snowy weather, but I guess I reached my limit when it snowed on my daffodils.  This photo was taken last weekend.  Just heard the weatherman calling for more snow overnight.  Ugh!   Enough is enough!

The weatherman keeps piling on the bad news.  Erie, PA is no stranger to winter weather but Thunder Snow is not common nor is it welcome.  So here is my response.  Let is snow! Let it snow! We will just build another fire.  It's toasty and warm. Let's roast marshmallows.

It's a great day to just enjoy a walk to Lake Erie.  Yes, the day started with class prep, phone calls and numerous errands.   Finally I just walked out the door and headed north to Lake Erie, a short walk from my home.  Have a seat and enjoy the view.   Relax, breathe deeply.  Forget the challenges and just enjoy life. Lake Erie at Avonia Beach

No matter what the weather is it is SPRING!   Seven mile walkway along bay, Erie PA in backgroundIn some areas it is too hot or too cold or it's snowing or raining or just not quite to your liking.  In Erie, PA the sun has been shining brightly with a slight breeze.  Yes, the temperature could be a bit warmer, but I am happy with sun for the first day of spring.A long time ago I figured out that no matter what my opinion of the weather was it didn't make any difference.  The 'weatherman' and 'Mother Nature'  had their own agenda so I decided to just 'Embrace'  and 'Enjoy'  well, maybe enjoy can be a stretch some days. Let's Embrace the First Day of Spring   Waiting for these flowers to pop up in my front yard. Forget the excuses.  It's time to relax.  Oh, yes, but . . . Yes, but I am busy.  Yes, but I have so many undone things on my to-do list that I can't take time off. If you are in real estate I bet you have said that many times over.  It seems that there is never enough time for all that needs to be done. But let me tempt you with reality.  A little time off to relax goes a long way to rejuvenate both your body & your inner spirit.I learned this early in my career.  I had been working 24/7And seemed to be spinning in circles.  My broker suggested I take weekend off, I responded that I had out of town buyers all weekend.  My broker suggested that I take Friday off, I responded that I had so much prep work to be done before weekend. Finally I agreed to leave early on Friday afternoon. At fi...
