5th Annual Give and Take Day in Chestnuthill Township! Sat., April 6th, 2013   This is a great idea for another form of recycling.  Instead of throwing it away or letting it sit around collecting dust, take it to Give and Take Day.   Teaming up to offer this Day to Township residents are the Township’s Earth Day Activities Committee and Close the Loop ( a local recycling company).   Bring a gently used, reusable item to the Township Building between 11am and 1pm to GIVE and then from 1pm to 4pm you can TAKE away something that was given that you could use. Another great way to recycle! View Larger Map

The Real Estate market in the West End area of the Poconos is a "Hidden Gem" for commuters to New Jersey and New York. Typically folks come from the city and through the Water Gap and straight up Interstate 80 if they are searching for a home in  the Pocono Mountains of PA. What most folks don't know is that the hidden gem of The West End can be found by making a slight turn down rte 33 and consequently Rte 209 and on into the West End beginning with the town of Brodheadsville, PA. Not many people know that his town is just 15 minutes from the Delaware Water Gap. There are other little hidden gems as well as Brodheadsville. Quaint little towns such as Cherry Valley, Neola, Gilbert, Kunkletown and others. These little known places offer large newer homes at very good prices and with some...
