My older sister Sarae greatly influenced me. She was always there for me, my Friend, and also like a second mother. I remember her helping me with my homework assignments. We often visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Franklin Institute. Back then, we did not have computers; we had encyclopedias, and she would help me choose what subject to write about. When I was a young kid, she would take me out with her friends.         Earlier this week my wife and I couldn’t waitto try out a new restaurant that had recently opened. The Lucky Dog Cafe opened up right nextto a Harley Davison Dealer on Beaver Valley Pike,RT.222 . We got there at 5:15 and the place was packed . I was wanting a Hamburger and decidedon a Patty Melt ( see above) . Laura decided on Beef Tips . Open faced with mushrooms & onions.They also her poured a very generous glass of Pino Grigio . The staff was very attentive and the meals came out quickly ! Needless to say the Lucky Dog has a new friend .

Who doesn't love a deal? I know I do. Having grown up as the son of an antique dealer I heard my father for many years negotiating when purchasing items for stock and when he was selling as well. It made me a better negotiator when I followed him into the business many years later.  My Mother had a significant influence on my life. My Mother loved life and was grateful to be alive and for all she had. She was an orphan in her teenage years and lived with her sister in a home.
