Where to Find U-Cut Christmas Trees in Washington County Thanksgiving was the kick-off to the Holidays and Christmas is right around the corner. It's that time of year again .  .  . time to think about decking the halls. Which means going into the garage, getting out the snow shoes,  hone the axe then jump into the wagon with the kids. It's time to do the "Griswold Family"  trek out into the back country to find "the perfect" U-Cut Christmas Tree.   Clark: We're kicking off our fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols. Audrey: We're not coming all the way out here just to get one of those stupid ties with Santa Clauses on i...

Look at the neat and welcoming entrance to one of several retail sections...     Never mind today's Oregon cloud cover. All one needs to do is drive around the manicured city streets and you'll notice a difference from some of the other areas in Beaverton.  Houses in Beaverton come in a wide variety of size and price.   Murrayhill is considered safe, closer to commute corridors and better retail. Advantages for sellers are typically quicker sales and higher prices when it's time to list the home FOR SALE and the perk for buyers is better profit when comes time to move.   Not everyone's looking for a neighborhood with prolific police presence and CC & R's with a homeowners association. Some people want this because it meets their expectations of what a neighborhood should look like surro...

Portland, Oregon people like to get away from the river and out to the rolling hills of Beaverton. The Murray Hill area is certainly one of the nicer sections around PDX suburbs and the    MURRAYHILL RECREATION CENTER    is one of many reasons.   The community has accolades of being one of the most attractive and environmentally healthy neighborhoods in the Portland Metro Area   Murray Hill was planned to preserve the fertile topography and rich resources of the rolling hills. The architectural beauty and significance of surrounding amenities like the Murray Hill recreation center and constructed homes contribute to a healthy community.   Good schools and people living in a protected neighborhood add up to a valuable place to come home!   We can share our favorite places for ideal liv...

Relocating to Beaverton, OR I've assisted many buyers relocating to Beaverton, OR from all areas of the nation: San Diego, Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Boston and parts in between.  The majority of buyers relocating to Beaverton typically move up from California.  Even with families "down south" relocating to Beaverton makes sense.  Travel is relatively inexpensive forth/back, and it's a short commute . . . about 4 hours from start to finish (airport to airport.) Buyers relocating to Beaverton move for a variety of reasons.  But the main reasons are:  job relocation, retirement, housing prices. Things to consider when relocating to Beaverton for retirement: Your lifestyle is very important at this juncture.  Do you want to golf, attend the wonderful theater district we have downtown...

Beaverton was named for it's proximity to water where Beavers call home. Large numbers of homebuyers and the commerce that follows has watched the population increase to approximately 93,000. The area is slightly less then nineteen square miles. Take a closer look at the area map and homes FOR SALE in Beaverton  Traffic can be congested at times but overall not detrimental to overall quality of life. Many homes are only a short commute to the numerous employers that have settled in Beaverton. Nike, Reser's Fine Foods, IBM and the Beaverton School District have the largest number of employees. The fact that the school system has high numbers staff employed is good and students get a high level of education. There are thrirty three elementary schools and eight middle schools.
