Oh to be back in high school!  This year  marks 15 years since I graduated from Tippecanoe High School and 22 years since my brother (and business partner) Brian Amlin graduated from Tippecanoe High School.  Not sure on the math...but I believe our Boss (and mother) Sue Amlin graduated from her high school in Georgia 43 years ago!  Wow! Now that the holidays have passed, we wanted to take a moment and share with you how your generosity made Christmas, and every day living, a little brighter for the "Christmas Miracle" family of eight. The Sowder's were victims of a devastating fire, losing almost everything they owned...and having no renter's insurance for replacement items.  The family, Mom & Dad, and 6 kids ages 9, 7, 6, 4, 1.5 and 2 months, were able to secure another home to rent but moved in without much.  They were given donations of a few beds and a kitchen table to get them started.  We were notified of the wishes of the family...just some basic necessities for the home like dishes, pots and pans; however, we knew the need was really greater than that.  So we sent a bulk email and a Facebook post...which was fo... 01/05/2010

Happy November!  Lots of updates... First, we wanted to thank you for all of your concerns and well wishes for my 6 year old son Gabe.  He ended up coming down with the Flu last week and after chest x-ray confirmation he also had pneumonia.  Gabe has recovered well and kept busy...video games, movies...thank goodness his teacher sent home homework and books to read for a change of pace.  After helping him with doing hand-outs, reading, projects and such...I sure appreciate our teachers SO MUCH!  We also discovered the RedBox Rentals at McDonald's...and since I LOVE to coupon...I also discovered the free codes to use so we haven't had to pay yet!  If you ever want the coupon scoop, let me know...or check out our blog too where I published Couponing 101.  Thank you also for all of the 60t... 11/01/2009

Wow- what a great Sunday for open houses. I know that as a part of our MOAR board we were really hoping to have a very successful American Home Week with lots of great open houses. I personally had 4 listings open and am very pleased to announce that even with cool rainy weather, they were well recieved. We are getting a ton of questions every day with how is the market? Is everything as bad as the media makes it out to be?  Here is my question in response- how are you? Are you finding that you are not doing the things that you once did, are you not shopping, are you not into entertainment anymore? Most people I have talked to would say it hasn't really impacted them. With that said of course there is some consumers who have lost thier jobs, and some who are struggling.
