My day was messed up from the get-go. Waking up late just screws things up. By the time I had breakfast, two cups of coffee and banged out a quick post, it was time to exercise and ice my knees. Already had plans to meet my sister to shop for a birthday gift for Mickey. We also stopped at Sweetberry Fresh Market, I had never been there before. Fabulous produce, wonderful meats, great prepared foods and more.....reasonable prices.....loved it!  Usually I exercise and ice a second time around 4:00 in the afternoon.....that did not happen today since I didn't get home until after 6:00. Do I exercise at 6:00?Nope, hungry, made myself some dinner.Do I exercise afterwards?Nope, commented on ActiveRain posts.Do I exercise now?Nope, I'm too damn tired and I'm going to bed in a few hours. ******... 09/23/2015

On Monday evening, March 3, 2014, Mickey is being interviewed.  It will take place at her monthly  club meeting. La Gazatta Italiana is interested in doing an article about her and my Father.  He was the past president of Wickliffe Italian-American Club and Mickey is also the past president of the Italian-American Club Ladies Auxiliary. She has completed a preliminary questionnaire about our family and family history.  Photos were selected for submission. My personal favorite is their wedding photo. A Lake County Favorite for Events - Pine Ridge in Wickliffe...   ...And one of my favorite places too! I just held my daughter's baby shower at Pine Ridge CC in Wickliffe and I could not have been happier with the service or the food. Don't let the CC - (Country Club) part of their name scare you off!  Pine Ridge CC at one time was a private club, but it is now open to the public and another local favorite Dino's Restaurant cater's for Pine Ridge.   Pine Ridge has many different size rooms ranging from the Large to the Small and Quaint.  I used one of the small and quaint for my daughter's shower, we had 45 people at her shower.   Here's the room all decorated   And here are the table decorations and party favors   I made the Christmas trees out of 'girly stuff' - boas, ribbon, netting,... 11/09/2012

Every Wednesday from September to May, I spend a fun afternoon with some wonderful older ladies bowling at the Freeway Lanes in Wickliffe, Ohio. My average is just so-so at 129. But, Today I Bowled A Clean Game! My Score was 197 It was very exciting!   As I was getting closer and closer to the 10th frame I was definitely nervous and wondering if I could hold it together and not choke!  And I am happy to say that I did not choke!
