Caesar Creek State Park Area Home SOLD:  5541 Harveysburg Rd We'll admit, not all our listings sell quickly!  While we may have recently gotten a Lebanon home under contract in 19 days and a Springboro custom luxury home in 80 days, this Caesar Creek State Park area home took a bit longer.  A LOT longer.  Despite offering almost five acres of land, a 3 car detached garage and a pond, this home wasn't cookie cutter.  Two bedrooms and a loft doesn't fit the needs for many buyers.  And a basement not truly suitable for finishing doesn't fit the needs of many.  Not on city water?  A scary fact for some buyers. But the peace and quiet more than compensates.  Private, down a long driveway, the mature trees add to the charm.    A HUGE lake and Caesar Creek State Park in the immediate area is a...

Cypress Ridge Community Springboro Ohio Schools Homes For Sale Cypress Ridge offers spacious, upscale custom built homes with 1+ acre lots in a former Homearama community (2003 AND 2006!).  Like some other communities in the area, the location descriptions might throw you off:  Springboro schools, Clearcreek Township government, 45068 zip code usually associated with Waynesville.  Regardless, the location of Cypress Ridge is a real plus, located close to the SR48/SR73 intersection, so you can leave Cypress Ridge and head to work in the Dayton or Cincinnati metro areas with no problem! Cypress Ridge still offers new construction (e.g. Design Homes), and not all offerings are placed in MLS, so be aware that when you click the Search Cypress Ridge Homes For Sale links in this post, you ma...

Paying It Forward:  Two Trees For The Troops Please! A couple of days ago we wrote about a local nursery and landscaping company stepping up to the plate and sponsoring a Trees for Troops program.  Grandma's Gardens in Waynesville had a goal of 120 trees for the troops.  Now perhaps it was the rainy day, or perhaps enough folks just don't KNOW about the program (we're going with the latter), it looks like they're going to fall at least 20 trees short of their goal with tomorrow scheduled for the FEDEX pickup.  Hopefully quite a few more people contributed after our visit this afternoon. But thanks to our Active Rain friend and fellow REALTOR(R) David Popoff, we were able to double our order today to TWO trees rather than the one we'd planned.  So many thanks David for the assist!  We fi...
