Perrysburg, OH Real Estate News

By Bert Spangenthal, Let's see what is out my front door.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit an amazing new store located just outside of Perrysburg Ohio.  The Bass Pro Shop just opened this year.  Even if you are not a fisherman or fisherlady this is a great store to visit.  This store is not just for the person who likes to fish.  There is clothing, footwear, boats, fishing equipment, hunting equipment, and even items for your home.  Much to my amazement, items were reasonably priced.  My wife and I recently visited Alaska, and did a little kayaking.  I was interested to see what they had in the store.  The salesperson was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.  The person even gave us a catalog for us to take home.  You know I will be back. Perrysburg is a very exciting community with lots to offer its residents.  Recent Home...

With the housing market flooded with homes for sale, and some agents feeling the pinch, I just don't understand what it will take for some agents to understand what it takes to get there listings sold. In my area I am finding agents who are listing homes for what ever percent and only offering a small co-broke, and they end up with a listing that expiries. I have talked to many agents and home sellers in the last few week who call me after they listen to my radio show and I tell them all the same thing. If you want to sell sooner you need to offer a better co-broke. Yes it is that simple. I have been offering great co-brokes and me listing are selling in short order. I also feel the agents who are charging the home owner 5 to 7% listing commission and only offering an average 2 to 2.5 c...

It's July 4th, and I am so lucky to a Real Estate Agent with ReMax Executives.  Love the office, love the people. We went to a great party last night at the VanHoozen household and had a great time.  Thank you VanHoozen Family!  They had a live band that you could hear from far and wide (Experiment 582), a pool for the kids, great food, and tons of people.  The fireworks show was fantastic.  We didn't even have to wait in traffic long!Glad we took the chance, and went.  We have never been down to Fort Meigs for the fireworks and it was worth it!When I was talking to people at the party, and telling them what I do for a living, they kept asking, "Isn't the market terrible?"  Absolutely not!  I have three closings scheduled (One closed last week) and more to come.  They are shocked!  It is...
