Arts & Crafts Show Sycamore High School November 19 2011 We're right in the prime time of Arts & Crafts show season.  Pretty much every weekend this time of year a local community or school will be hosting a show.  Tons of homemade items for holiday decorating or gifts.  Some are handmade from scratch, and some folks get a head start with premade items and spiff them up. Saturday you've got an opportunity to see almost 200 vendors at Sycamore High School (7400 Cornell Rd, Montgomery OH 45242) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. What's it going to cost you?  Well admission is FREE, but after that, you set the budget yourself.  Items obviously vary widely in price. Now we're a bit biased, but one of our friends (happens a lot with our area home buyers and sellers, start off as clients, but end as frien...

Selling your home yourself can be rewarding and can sometimes save you commission but net you less money and time in the end IF you sell.....  Many home owners who try to list a home themselves find that the process can be very difficult to manage properly and expensive if they buy signs, place ads, etc only to list later with an agent.  Over 80% of FSBO's end up listing with an agent anyway.  Also, did you know that there are forms REQUIRED by the state of Ohio that you need to fill out when entering into a purchase agreement with a buyer?  What should you do? Our process is simple:  We sell your home for the best possible price and terms within the shortest time possible! Here are the marketing duties we perform: 1.Price your home strategically so you're competitive with the current m...

Hope you are having a wonderful September.  The kids are now back in school and the weather is showing hints of turning cooler.  The real estate market in Cincinnati has been a little slow but signs are out there that we may have a better 4th quarter than originally expected.    We have closed on 37 properties so far this year totaling about $7,000,000.  Our average sale price for THE TYE GROUP is hovering around $190,000 which is higher than the average sale in greater Cincinnati at about $156,000 according to the  2009 data.     As always, we appreciate your referrals to family, friends and co-workers.  20 of our 37 sales from this year have come from repeat clients or referrals from past clients!   We started a Facebook Fan Page for Greater Cincinnati less than one year ago and now h...

When you're working hard in real estate, sometimes you need some really good take out so you can get back to taking care of your clients!  A few weeks ago we posted about Noce's Pizzeria in Montgomery, Ohio.  Well Noce's was certainly good enough for another pizza run! This trip we simplified a bit: a large cheese pizza, a pepperoni calzone and a meatball sub.  All were excellent! We lived in South Philly back in the late '80s during our time with the Navy, and got to experience plenty of good Italian food.  We found Noce's to be perhaps better than any we've ever had!  And if you're from the City of Brotherly Shove, sorry about that!  :) So it's picture time: One large cheese pizza!  Excellent, great sauce, good texture, will definitely have to do this again! One pepperoni calzone.  -5...

Ready for a break from the chain pizza joints? It might be time for you to visit Noce's Pizzeria in Montgomery!  (9797 Montgomery Rd, just a short drive from Montgomery Inn, phone 513-791-0900).  Their original location is in Cheviot, and there's another in Edgewood, KY. Please visit their website at Noce's Pizzeria  for further details on their other locations and hours of operation.  Menus and prices are also available online!  Dining is eat in, or pick up, and for some locations delivery is available.  Call to confirm. Liz's mother, sister and nephew were in town for a few days, so we thought we'd treat them to some great pizza. Last night was our second time picking up pizza from Noce's.  The fact that we were willing to drive 20 miles each direction should tell you what we thought ...

As a Real Estate professional I have worked in many communities that make Greater Cincinnati Ohio an awesome place to live.  Since I was 20 and became a homeowner I have lived in 5 different communities and been a proud homeowner in each community.  We are proud to call Cincinnati home and just purchased our 5th home and choose Montgomery Ohio for many reasons.   1. Great Location: We found the area to be close to everything that we like to do from our Gym (LA Fitness on Montgomery Road and Harper's Point) to our Church (Rivertree about 10-15 minutes away) to our favorite grocery Store (Kroger at Harper's Point) and tons of restaurants in Symme's Township, Deerfield Township, Loveland and Old Montgomery (all just a few minutes away). 2. Great Schools:Sycamore School District is consiste...
