Just found the BEST online resource for Maumee Schools. A Master Calendar that you can print, sync with Outlook or Palm, has a mobile version, and can be exported. Shows EVERYTHING going on in EVERY Maumee School Building. This is so cool. It shows everything. Try-outs, scrimmages, sporting events, Maumee elementary, middle shool, and high school events. Includes band events, meetings, practices, tournaments, parties. Clara J's at 219 | A Maumee OH Tea Room. Located in Historic Maumee Ohio at 219 West Wayne Street. I've had several opportunities to visit this delightful establishment, one of which was with a group of ladies during the Holiday's. Check out some of the photos below. Another time I met my daughter on a cold winter's day for a pot of spiced tea and a plate of petite desserts. Both visits were top notch. Also on the premises is a wonderful gift shop with all sorts of goodies, as well as loose teas, teapots, jewelry and artistic finds. They'll have live music and children's events. Enjoy the spectacular fireworks show at dusk! Maumee-Perrysburg bridge fireworks, dusk (bridge closed 8-11pm) Family tradition has been to walk with the crowd to the banks of the Maumee River, throw your blanket down, sit your fanny on the ground and enjoy the views while waiting for the fireworks display to commence. Also nice is to anchor down river by boat. Fireworks usually are shot near Fort Meigs on the Perrysburg side and can be seen down river for miles.   06/20/2012
