Another Happy Mason Ohio Patio Home Buyer Courtesy of The Liz Spear Team RE/MAX Elite Yes, we did it again!  Yesterday our buyer completed the purchase of his new patio home in Mason's Villas at Hunter's Green!  We're sure he's going to love this patio home and it's low maintenance lifestyle!  And the fact that the community has a tennis court a short walk from his new home just adds to the enjoyment! Mason Ohio Condo Associations Approved For FHA Loans July 2014 Mason condos offer VERY affordable living BUT if your financing includes an FHA loan, we have less than great news for you.  While Mason has a fair number of condo communities, from the base entry point below $100k to luxury condos above $300k, MOST Mason Ohio condo communities decline to maintain FHA certification. Basically, to gain approval for an FHA loan, the condo association must maintain a valid certificate with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Essentially HUD assesses eligibility for the community:  ratio of owner occupants to investors, proportion of residential to commercial use, etc.  Fail to meet the standards and the community will not be eligible for FHA mortgage insurance. Mason Ohio Low Maintenance Homes For Sale:  Alverta's The Villages Alverta's The Villages isn't called a patio home community, and for good reason!  These new construction homes by M/I Homes aren't quite like the other patio home communities in the Cincinnati area.
