Yorktown is a large town in northern Westchester County served by both the Yorktown and Lakeland School districts. It is one town over from our office and in the heart of our company coverage area. I have heard it characterized as idyllic suburbia, and I agree. I just sold this short sale home in Yorktown Heights NY in 3.5 months. It took about a month and a 1/2 to find a buyer and then about 3.5 months to close the short sale. Well this was my first time going to the RISMedia convention today, thought it was pretty good. But like most conventions there are always to many things going on at once. We could not see all that we wanted to see, and some of the rooms that they had for the meetings were way to small. We stopped in for the Zillow speaker and they had people sitting on the floor and standing in the back. A lot of people left because the just could no get in.
