If clients can't see themselves living in a property it is unlikely that they will sign on the dotted line. A house that is "just too perfect" can be as big a turn off as one that is a total mess. Western New York Home Inspector John Villella, owner of All Pro Home Inspection says it again... working CO Detector are a must have device in your home. It's been said hundreds of times and we have all heard it before, but having a working CO Detector in your home is just common sense. However, I am always amazed while conducting home inspections daily the amount of homes that do not have this life saving device in the home.  It's a $30 investment for a good CO Detector and can save your life.  There have been several close calls in Western New York (WNY) this year and sadly even tragedy because of carbon monoxide poisoning.  Unfortunately, even with this issue in the news there are still a large number of people living in homes and apartments who do not have a CO Detector in the prope...

I've been so busy I forgot the weekly update yesterday. The Lockport Lightning U10 Girls play very well Sunday morning (7am - that reminds me I need to go talk to the person who made the schedule)  The girls beat the Niagara U10 Girls.  With the win the Lockport Lightning remain in a solid 2nd place in the standings.  Good work girls. The Lockport Thunder U10 Boys just continued overpowering teams. The opponent U10 Clarence team played hard, but just didn't have the skill level to match the Lockport boys.  The win keeps the Lockport Thunder in 2nd place and sets up the first of two showdowns against the first place team.  Sunday's game should be an exciting game.  The Lockport Boys are at the top of the list in the division with goals scored and have only given up 4 goals against all wi...
