The Spring selling season has come early this year.  There is a frenzy in the Rockville Centre market and we are seeing many properties going into contract and fewer homes entering the market. Today in Rockville Centre there are only 72 homes in the Rockville Centre school district on the market actively for sale.  This is a 25% reduction in the normal volume of homes for sale .  This is creating buyer competition and the movement of homes into contract. My advice for anyone thinking of selling is don't let this unique time in the market pass you by.

Today at work someone who belongs to the Rockville Centre Lions Club stopped in the office.  I was happy to see her and asked what brought her out on a gray January day. Well she had come to give me a certificate for fifteen years of service to the Lions Organization.  I had no idea it was that long.   This orgainization does amazing fund raising and all proceeds go to charity.  The members are all hard working and dedicated to growing the club and do great work for the people of Rockville Centre.

Well, I've been looking everywhere.  Just can't seem to find a short term rental apartment/home near Rockville Centre, NY.  I'm calling all AR friends and acquaintances.  HELP!  We need a 2 bedroom furnished place to stay the week after Christmas.  Will most likely stay through New Year's Day.  Dates are flexible.  We have a small dog-very well trained!  But we will be at my son's house all day with the dog so it will only be at night.  If you know of anything, please let me know.  Thanks!

This is a shout out for anyone in the area that knows of a company that would be available to help my son and his family.  A very large oak tree has fallen on his house.  It is still on his roof.  Since it is not affecting power lines (thankfully!) he will have to have it removed by a private company. If anyone in the area knows of a company/individual that can help, please let me know.  His house is a two story house so I'm thinking a truck with a lift will be needed.  My daughter in law is 8.5 months pregnant and they have a two year old. So many are in need in this area.  Many in greater need than my family, however I am hopeful that we can still find someone to help. Blessings to all.

RVC Gourmet Deli & Catering is located at 209 N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre, NY 11570. The deli is owned and operated by long time Rockville Centre residents.  It's always a great thing to support a local business that supports other local business's. That said it is also a fabulous deli with an amazing selection of fresh cold cuts, fresh made hot soups, salads and a huge assortment of specialty items.  Another nice feature is the ability to have a bite to eat right there.  There is a fairly decent size dining area.  We have had a number of open houses catered from the RVC Gourmet Deli and have never been disappointed. Stop by and have breakfast, order lunch or pick up dinner.  The deli is open seven days a week. For more information call 516-442-3717 or check out the website...
