Was he enthusiastic? Not so much, but he went anyway. Although the teacher tells us that my Dad never listened  to anything that was being taught, he was able to create some beautiful paintings. This was a complete surprise to all of us. Warm weather has the markets with plentiful amounts of radishes a bit early I'm told. Fresh and a bit spicy. A Google search says the greens can be sauted with garlic, and so I included the tasty stems in some stir fry tonight. Enjoying the warm weather and great veggies.. My local CSA is opening this week.  Newburgh Free Academy Students Win Solar Car Competition Global Championship Goes to Local High School Team In Newburgh NY This April students from NFA went to Houston Texas to compete in the 2012 Shell EcoMarathon Competition. The Students’ Cars out distanced and produced more Solar Energy Than Any Other Team. Competition was among some of the best Universities in the country including  Purdue, Louisiana Tech and MIT, and also teams from South and Central America.
