There are two Antahkarana symbols; yin and yang, but for now we'll explore the Yin (female) symbol. Yesterday, on May 18th was the 8th anniversary of my mother, Carole Provenzale’s, passing. And as many of us know, not too long ago Mother’s Day was just celebrated. Last weekend I was in New York City to conduct a Feng Shui Consultation and Space Clearing Ceremony. My client was located in downtown, near the world trade center. Should I buy a NYC condo with a view?Often when we work with buyers looking at different condos, the buyers always asked us if they should buy an condo with a view or not.  In New York city, having a view is a luxury item and there is a premium that comes with that. If you are buying for yourself, and you love views, then YES.. Buy something you are going to be happy with. If you like to crunch numbers and want to gain the highest yield possible, it may be difficult to justify paying the premium for a view as it may not equate proportionally to your rental income. Overall we recommend you buy an apartment with good natural light and ideally not facing a brick wall. How he passed, was shocking and very unexpected. Since that time, a 'reset' button has been pushed, forcing me to reassess my lifestyle and values. This is an oldie, but goodie. "Ringing in the Money" is a BTB Feng Shui cure. Hang a bell from the inside of your front door. This could be done for both your home and office. The intention is to help stimulate the energy flow near the front entrance and the metaphor is to "ring" in money, opportunities and provide protection. Find a bell that you personally resonate with: size, sound and look.I found this little gem of a bell hanging from the inside door handle of an Italian sandwich shop. It's a great example. Simple, small, and has a really nice ring to it. You'll also notice the bell is attached to a red string. That too is commonly implemented with more traditional BTB Feng Shui cures.
