    Spotlight on Waterside Plaza ManhattanWaterside Plaza is a residential and business complex in the Kips Bay area of Manhattan, along the East River. The location was actually constructed out of rubble brought over from the U.K city of Bristol after WWII. The debris had been used in the hulls of U.S. ships as ballast, and was then reappropriated as landfill to create the area now known as Waterside Plaza. Constructed in 1973, the complex is made up of four residential towers and a row of red brick duplex townhouses.
