You could consider this a part two to my previous blog post: Brooklyn New York Hidden Gem - Barbès. As shared, on December 30th, 2018, I took a tour of the boroughs in NYC and made specific stops in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This post focuses on my visit to MomaIt's been a year or so since I've returned to MoMa and this was a much needed treat! New exhibits that really caught my attention included Bruce Nauman: Disappearing Acts and Charles White: A Retrospective. The photo you see as the featured image is an installation from the Bruce Nauman's installation. And as for Charles White, I purposely didn't post any photos because you simply need to visit the exhibit for yourself. I will say, his work is mind blowing with his level artistic craftsmanship and messages sent. Do we have any Lee ...

Apartment on 65th floor was listed for $32.5M  432 Park Avenue   Why the face? Maybe because this buyer’s flipped two units at 432 Park Avenue at a loss.   An LLC by the name of “WHY THE FACE” just sold a unit on the tower’s 65th floor for $24.2 million, records filed with the city’s Department of Finance show. That’s down from the $25.6 million the buyer paid in March 2016, and $8.3 million less than what the apartment was initially listed for in April 2017.   The apartment spans 4,000 square feet and features three bedrooms and a library.   This mysterious buyer sold another unit at a slight loss — roughly $73,500 — on the 28th floor. The unit was purchased, according to city records, on the same day as the other apartment. The buyer paid $1.8 million and then sold the unit in June.  ...

Spotlight on Midtown ManhattanMidtown Manhattan is the country’s largest commercial, entertainment, and media center. The northern border of Midtown is easily delineated as 59th Street, however the southern border is a bit more ambiguous. The border is considered by some to be 34th Street, though others considered the area to extend to 23rd or even 14th Street. From East to West, Midtown spans the entire island of Manhattan, being bordered by the East and Hudson Rivers.Midtown is such a large area of Manhattan, that it is often broken down into Midtown West and Midtown East. However, even within that, there are numerous neighborhoods and enclaves with their own unique atmosphere. Times Square is considered the central core of Midtown. Other notable areas include Hell’s Kitchen and Chels...
