There was a Home Buyer who demanded that I give them 3% from the sale of the Home, because they would not be using a Buyer Broker to purchase a Manchester NH area Home. That was last year, well they are back. They never bought a home. They lost their deposit on a home last spring and area ready to purchase again. They were trying to pull a TRICK and certainly did not get a TREAT. I do not think they realized that whether they use a buyer Agent, has no affect on the contract between the Seller and the Listing Agent with what or how they are paid to list and sell that home. First I must say that a GOOD Buyer Broker usually does half the work and therefore gets half the commission. The phone rings, A person in hysterics is asking why they can not decorate for Halloween of they want to sell their home? "Who said you can't decorate?" was my question. The Manchester NH area home owner stated they called one of the "big national" companies and they said 'no decorations" when listing their home. The home is already decorated the seller stated, could i believe they wanted everything taken down? Yes i can believe it, I asked Mr. Home Seller if they hired them to list their home.
